Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Every group can use the Free plan, with no credit card and no time limit on your account. Groups that run more events or want to keep photos longer can choose a paid plan. See pricing →
Do we have to buy our awards from TrophyCentral?
No. Any group can use Highlight Reel. When we're running an offer for awards customers, it's shown on the pricing page.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. Guests scan the QR code and upload from their phone's browser. Uploads still go through if the signal drops for a moment.
Who can see our photos?
Only people with your event link or code. Galleries are kept out of search engines, and downloads are off unless you turn them on.
How do we keep inappropriate photos out?
Nothing goes live until you approve it. You see every photo first, next to your private don't-publish list, and anyone can ask for a photo to be taken down later.
A parent doesn't want their child's photo posted. What do we do?
Add the child to your private don't-publish list, which you see while approving. If a photo is already up, anyone can request removal and it's hidden right away.
Do you use facial recognition?
No. Photos are organized by event, class, team or division, never by faces.
Can we add it to our own website?
Yes. Paste one short snippet into your site and the upload button, gallery and slideshow appear there in your colors. Groups without a website get a gallery page we host. Compare the two ways →
How long do our photos stay up?
It depends on your plan: Free galleries stay up for months after each event, and paid plans keep them longer. We email you well before a gallery expires so you can download everything, and your winners stay in your Hall of Champions. See pricing →
Who owns the photos?
The people who took them. By uploading, they allow your group and TrophyCentral to display the photos in your gallery and print them on products you or they order.
