Frequently Asked Questions About Science Trophies

What science fair and STEM programs are these awards suitable for?

Our science trophies and awards are suitable for a wide range of programs including elementary, middle, and high school science fairs, science bowls, STEM olympiads, robotics competitions, engineering design challenges, and district and regional science competitions. Medals and lapel pins work especially well for classroom-wide recognition and large fairs where every participant deserves acknowledgment, while trophies and plaques suit category winners, grand champions, and special award recipients such as best research methodology, outstanding experimental design, and judge's choice honors.

What details should science trophy engraving include?

Essential elements include student name, award title, school or organization name, competition name, and year. For competitive fairs, adding the category, grade division, and place finish creates a more complete record of the achievement. Special awards gain clarity from descriptive titles like Outstanding Experimental Design or Best of Fair. For team projects, include all collaborators when space allows. Keep text concise and readable, prioritizing the most meaningful details when space on smaller awards requires choices.
